In 25 years of servicing jobsites in the Intermountain
Area, I have never been motivated enough to write a letter of this
type. Most of the letters we see on construction sites are negative
and involved poor coordination of subs and correcting defective materials
and workmanship. Quite often the relationships between the players
are adversarial. In my 2 visits to the SUU Physical Edication Building
Jobsite, I learned that this job is quite different.
In short, the difference was attitude. The message was
positive and the nindset of the general contactors' people on the
site was "Let's work together and make this job a showcase of
our skills and workmanship." The general contractor's superintentdent
was friendly and helpful. He indicated that he would support the roofers
and sheet metal mechanics needs to get a good job.
The layup of the Vycor Ultra was exceptional, especially
considering the difficulty of the job. It was obvious to me that roofer
installing the Vycor Ultra really cared and went to extra efforts
to getting the project dry. My congratulations.
Sincerely Yours,
