of Project |
| Remove failed simulated wood shingles and replace with
new Certainteed Landmark 40 dimensional asphalt shingles. Install
new Grace Ice and Water Shield over entire roof surface and up walls,
build new oversized wood crickets behind all chimneys, install new
sheet metal flashings, new heat tape, gutters and downspouts. |

Challenges
Associated With The Project |
| Completing a major reroofing project in a limited time
frame. Project started September 1, 2003 and was completed 90 days.
Extensive sheet metal details covering new plywood crickets, valley
metal, custom step shingles, drip edges gutters and downspouts all
fabricated from prefinished metal. Natural stone and wood siding was
removed from all vertical surfaces 36" up from the roof surface
so Grace Ice and Watershield could be installed. |
