Our Committment to Safety
Utah Tile & Roofing is committed to safety. Our safety program includes a full-time Safety Director who routinely performs project inspections, training programs, and toolbox talks. Although employees receive pre-employment training which includes education in all protection, hazardous material, handling, back injury prevention, and other topics relating to the roofing industry and construction safety.
Our current experience modification rate is .68. The national average is 1 (lower is better.)
In 1999 UTR, Inc. received a safety achievement award from CNA Commercial Insurance for Outstanding Performance and Commitment to Safety.
We also received the Utah chapter AGC Achievement of Safety Excellence Award for 1999.
